What we believe

At Gorna Banya, we believe that pure water goes hand in hand with pristine nature. Our mission does not end with delivering quality water to your home - it continues even after the last sip.

В какво вярваме

The journey of the bottle: A closed loop

We aim to reduce our environmental footprint through several key initiatives:

100% Recyclable packaging

All our PET bottles, caps, and labels are designed to be fully recyclable and transformed into a new resource.

Lightweight bottles

We are continuously optimizing our packaging design to use less plastic, without compromising on strength and quality.

Circular economy

We support separate collection systems to ensure that plastic does not end up in nature but is instead processed into rPET (recycled polyethylene).

Optimization and logistics

Caring for nature also includes the air we breathe. That is why we are implementing:

Eco-friendly transport:

Optimizing delivery routes to reduce harmful CO2 emissions.

Reusable

We encourage the use of large (19L) dispenser jugs that are cleaned and reused, saving thousands of small plastic bottles.

Nature gives us the most precious gift - clean water. It is our turn to thank it.

At Gorna Banya, we believe that responsibility lies in small steps. That is why our packaging is 100% recyclable. From the cap to the label - everything can be recycled.

Because we love our home and want to keep it green for future generations as well.

Nature gives us the most precious thing – clean water.

Based on the carbon footprint assessment, the following investments are planned to help reduce the carbon footprint of production:

Line for PET bottles – 3.5 L and 10 L – scheduled for implementation in 2026.

Implementation of photovoltaic systems for electricity generation – scheduled for 2026–2027.

The successful implementation of these investments will result in a reduction of the carbon footprint by approximately 151 Mt CO2e, or 1.6%, over the course of a year. The organization intends to reduce its carbon footprint by 10% by 2030 and by 35% by 2050 through the adoption of new technologies and alternative energy sources.
